Senior Scala Engineer - Elasticsearch

We are on the lookout for a skilled Backend Engineer with a penchant for scalability and reliability. As we push the boundaries of search technologies, we need someone with the expertise and passion to drive our innovations further.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimize our Open Search and Elasticsearch functionalities.
2. Write, optimize, and maintain Scala-based applications, with a particular focus on ZIO.
3. Collaborate with other team members to design and implement distributed systems.
4. Occasionally step into assignments involving TypeScript to complete end-to-end processes.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Proven experience with Elasticsearch or Open Search.
2. Strong proficiency in Scala with demonstrable experience in ZIO.
3. Solid understanding and experience in designing and working with distributed systems.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of databases, including design and optimization.
5. Familiarity with TypeScript and willingness to undertake occasional assignments in this area.
