Build impactful FinTech products using cutting-edge technologies in an agile environment. Own the development process from planning to deployment and monitoring. Join a large community of dozens of Scala developers. Our Scala stack is based on Cats Effect 3 running on Scala 2.13, with Scala 3 around the corner. Also in our stack: AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, Node.js, Spark, and Aerospike.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop scalable architectures for machine learning systems.
- Deploy code to production daily using CI/CD tools.
- Contribute to the end-to-end development of key product features.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design and implement new features.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of server-side coding experience.
- Self-directed learner.
- Proficiency in Scala or equivalent
- Are you coming from another FP language like Haskell/Kotlin/Rust? We have an excellent training program to bring you up to speed.
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Some familiarity with Kubernetes or experience with AWS or other cloud providers
- Experience with stream processing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Hybrid position: 2 days/week in our Lisbon office.
