Software Engineer - ElasticSearch

We are a cutting-edge, full-stack observability platform revolutionizing how businesses process and understand their data. Our innovative architecture enables in-stream analytics without relying on expensive indexing or hot storage. We offer comprehensive monitoring of logs, metrics, trace, and security events, with features including APM, RUM, SIEM, Kubernetes monitoring, and more, all designed to enhance operational efficiency and reduce observability costs by up to 70%.

We are seeking engineers with hands-on experience in developing and managing distributed systems and microservices in a production environment. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in infrastructure and operations. You'll develop and maintain modern, cloud-native production systems using technologies like Scala and Rust. Our tech stack includes Scala (with the ZIO stack), Rust, Kafka, OpenSearch, Redis, and more.

Requirements

• This role requires the candidate to be located in Europe due to time zone alignment and regional market focus.
• At least 4 years of software development experience.
• Experience with JVM.
• Experience developing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Interest in functional programming and TDD concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Advantageous:

• Knowledge of Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience developing with modern effect systems, such as ZIO or Cats Effect.
