Technical Lead - Scala

The successful candidate will be creative, decisive, knowledgeable, and obsessive about quality. This is a vital role in a high profile team, often operating under tight deadlines and dynamic conditions across a wide range of problem domains. You will be responsible for shaping and guiding the direction of our technology ecosystem as well as take on large implementations yourself while guiding the work of many other developers.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering
• You’re a seasoned Scala engineer and have built scalable client-facing applications
• You manage complexity while driving results
• Comfortable working legacy code
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills

Bonus Points:

• Domain expertise in developing cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with banking, lending or debt collection
• Comfortable with teaching or mentoring other engineers
• Familiarity with project management and agile methodologies
